                  updates

Using duct tape couldn’t hold the pressure pipe, i was going to use a special tape, but figure out i should change the pipe altogether which i did.

It was quite fun to get into the end where just below the resevior, very tight, patience pays off, just need to get it done by the temperature turn cold, doing it at 5 C is a bit cool.

Replaced the pipe, two new clamps, all good now, trying to take some pictures or video but was in a rush before it turns dark here

                      You are awesome Eric
here are couple pictures my son took of the PS return pipe very oily, just that part of it.

I cleaned it up and taped it up with duct tapes for now and give it a week or two to see if any more leaks, then i know which pipe to replace

                              Updates

After a week, the oil gets low again, no leaks on the pipe, i noticed the bottom of the car were quite oily
Anyone have any idea where this leak can be ? Rack and Pinion ?

How can i repair this ?

                              thanks

My friend Acura parts manager explained to me that the foaming in the fluid causes the pump to fail, i went back and check the level of the fluid, it was a bit low.

I had the car running and try to look around, i found out the level of the fluid dropped big time, and bubble came up, i went to top up the fluid while engine is running, the noise went away.
I was going to change the O ring in the back host which is a bigger one, realized i didn’t need it after all.

I went to grab couple bottles of the fluid and started to remove most of the fluid from the resevoir and top up with new fluid.
so far, it resolved the noise issue.

                                  will update next week.

                                  Thanks Eric.
