She wanted to know my thoughts on annual inspections. She had recently had a bad experience with one and was looking for some input. Given her story, I’m not surprised she was not happy with the situation.
Years ago I held a Pennsylvania emissions and inspection license. I still remember what I went through in order to get that certification. It was a proud day indeed when I found out that I had passed and would be able to work as an inspection mechanic. Thing is, it comes with a lot of responsibility. Not saying I wasn’t up to the task, just that it was a bit more than I expected in the beginning.
What are your thoughts on annual safety & emissions inspections? Do you even have them where you live? If so, do you feel they are a welcome addition, or a nuance?
