Sitting by the Fire

In the house where I used to live, we had a fireplace. It was one of the nice things about that house which was lost to foreclosure in 2008. One winter during an ice storm, the power went out and we lost our heat as a result. That night we all slept in the room with the fireplace to stay warm. To pass the time I decided to shoot some video of the fire. Watching a fire or campfire has always made me feel calm and tranquil. With the footage I decided to make an ICK69 video. This is the result. It’s mainly about appreciating what you have and taking things one day at a time. Grab some marshmallows and stay warm.
