I have a 1999 Buick Regal ls with a 3800 turbo. I am wondering what are some easy things I can do to gain better acceleration. It already has a k and n air and oil filter with full synthetic oil. Also has new bosch spark plugs. I have knowledge on cars but don’t want to do anything really hard,any recommendations?
I would say 6.5 are better because 6 by 9 speakers are usually 2 or 3 way with the built in tweeters but 6.5 speakers are available in component,which is separate speaker and tweeter,which sounds way better. Go with the 6 .5 i would say
I have the stock toyota jbl system and its absolutely amazing for stock but i will be upgrading for better jbl speakers,adding a infinity 12 sub,planet audio amp,and possibly a navigation head unit
Ok i found a exhaust leak right after the catalytic converter on a flange.would this be causing my problems?
I like to thank you for all the info,its been helpful,i will jack it up and check stuff. It sucks how many things it could be. I do know that the p0420 is common on toyota cars and trucks. The strange thing is it drives wonderful and i heard of people driving it like this but i want it in tip top shape. I will look into it and let you know what i find in the next few days. Thanks you guys for your help!
The most recent codes are p 0420 and p0446. I heard that 01 camrys go throught catalytic converters fast,is this true?
I do agree with you on the autozone not being the best. I did take it to o raileys and got the same codes,they were using a bosch,a fancier one. I dont have the codes but i do have some more information to add. I bought the car 2 months ago and it was a abused car,it was very dirty and unkept. I thought being a Toyota it just needed cleaned and a few small repairs. It has 128,000 miles on it. What kind of scanner? I saw one at walmart for only 20 bucks but is that junk? How much would i have to spend for a good one? If its too much i wouldn’t be able to. Is there a chance of the check engine light being broke and going off for no reason? Thanks for all your help!
