Hey thanks guys. Two more questions : Should the coolant be at the neck of the radiator cold? Either I’m super low on coolant or I’m assuming the worst. And can I rent those pressure pump things at like Autozone?

I was able to see the last five laps when they were at Madrid. Didn’t see any passing 🙁 but there’s something about F1 cars that makes them so awesome. Where do they top out? Like 225mph 14000rpm?

Wow these stories make me feel good about my car. I have a 95 z28 that the previous owners drove hard. I’m sure they raced it… But in three years I’ve had to replace the brakes, rack and pinion, window motor, a ton of sensors, bearings, ball joints, and had my transmission blow up on the highway. I’m drawing a blank but that list is too short to be full… There’s still plenty of stuff that doesn’t work but it’s good experience for me. Most expensive thing was the transmission which was around $2000 cuz I couldn’t do that myself… I hate the big dashboards in Camaros cuz they crack soooo easily. And I absolutely hate how the doors are made of that composite plastic crap. My driver side window sags so much because the stress of the regulator is making the bolts eat away at the plastic so instead of having four nice little holes for the regulator assembly, I have four long ugly holes that don’t support the weight of the 3 ton window.

Professional or amateur? I’ve never seen the pros. I imagine it’s a bit boring. I enjoy when people bring their rides to tournaments but then I just get really jealous of their cars!

Thank you guys for the advice. I replaced the motor this morning and it works fine. That Pathfinder had to be the most repair friendly vehicle I’ve ever seen. Everything is really easy to fix.

The regulator looks fine. Nothing is sticking and the cable isn’t bent or jumbled up. The weather stripping is fine, too. Also, at the connector from the switch to the motor I’m getting ground and 11.9v with the button both up and down. If I’m getting the same amount of voltage with the button up and down, it wouldn’t be a switch, right?
