      Hey Eric,

Thanks for the advice on the film gear from the last AMA!

My daily driver is a 2012 Honda Civic LX 5 spd manual and it’s got 226k miles on the original motor and tranny. I bought it brand new in 2011 and I love this car because it’s been so dependable and also because of all the memories I’ve had with my family in this car. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been shifting so well lately. My issue is with 3rd and 5th gear. The car won’t let me shift into 5th from 4th without double clutching and it won’t let me go into 3rd from 4th if I don’t rev match before pushing it into 3rd (I usually rev match and shift at the same time).

Since this shifting issue seems to happen whenever I’m shifting from 4th gear, does that mean there’s something wrong with my 4th gear synchro?

Also, the clutch and tranny fluid were replaced at the Honda dealership about 40k miles ago if that helps at all.

        Hey Eric,

I’m getting into film making and I love quality of your videos. What kind of cameras do you use? Also, what kind of computer do you use for editing and what film editing software do you use?

Hey Eric, after driving FWD cars for the last 3 years, I’m finally getting ready to buy my first RWD car. A lot of people have encouraged me to go for the Honda S2000 because they’ve got plenty of power for such a light weight car, reliable, and it’s within my $20000 budget. However, I’m a little worried of how notoriously twitchy S2000s are and how they are known for being prone to snap oversteer. Do you think an S2000 would be a good choice for a beginner sports car? Also, what RWD sports car would you buy if you had $20000 to spare?

          Thanks in advance! Stay Dirty!
