You could try a 50/50 mix of SImple Green degreaser and water on the hard to get spots. Regular oil will deteriorate rubber bushings. If he used synthetic oil it shouldn’t damage plastic and rubber parts “as much”. You’re still gonna want to clean it up though. Just regular dish detergent that is phosphate-free will work well too to clean the oil and not damage the metal, plastic, or rubber. I agree with the car wash idea. Don’t use too high of a pressure on a commercial pressure washer because you can risk damaging sensors and the factory undercoat. I usually just let the pressure washer spray at its lowest setting without using the trigger. Might have to go under there with some rags or cut up T shirts, then dispose of the oily rags appropriately (ie. at a recycle center or bio hazard waste collection center) . You don’t wanna just leave oily rags laying around. I also like to go back and re-lubricate the vehicle’s bushings and plastic parts with a silicone spray after the cleaning. Hope this helped.

Fixed the issue at the shop. Turned out to be leaking air out of the slave cylinder through the bleed screw. Replaced the bleed screw and blammo, it worked.

Tried bleeding it again today no luck. There is definitely air being sucked back in through the bleed screw on the slave cylinder. But even when I had it sealed properly, it didn’t wanna bleed. I’ve wasted too much time fighting with it so I’m having it towed tomorrow to a local shop. I’ll report back when I find out what the issue was.

I meant to say I’d use teflon tape on the bleed screw itself on the slave cylinder. Sorry, my mistake. I didn’t bench bleed the slave cylinder, I just installed it dry after pushing in the plunger a couple times to make sure the seals were working. I used the bottle method on the slave’s bleeder screw to no avail after I bench bled the master. The soft line on the Integra connects to the hard line right before the slave cylinder. There is also a soft line going from the Master to the reservoir. I doubt either of these things are the problem however, because I see no sign of leakage and they appear to be in great shape. Also, the system worked before I drained it. I still have no idea why I can’t get pressure. I even checked the pedal adjustment to make sure it was pushing the CMC plunger in all the way. I’m going to take off the slave, bench bleed it, and reinstall. I will do the same with he CMC today. I’ll update as soon as I give those things a try.I’ll also try bleeding the line with the slave cylinder off, using the vacuum bleeder. That will negate any risk of there being an air pocket in the slave cylinder. Thanks for the reply.
