Sorry about my last of info. It is the 2.5l and automatic. Yeah i decided to get an second opinion today. Waiting on that. In terms of the rear crank seal, I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually needed it but in terms of the vibration I don’t think it is related. Will keep you updated
Yes the engine does physically shakes and the rpm drops and recovers quickly. It’s all in a split second
It’s a 2006 BMW 325i. I-6 N52 series engine with 150,000 miles.
…yes. However, will the wear on the tire become even again or will the tire always have uneven wear?
Ya my technician said the same thing. He has a proper scanner for BMW’s and said no codes came up and also when the pedal or anything like that fails the check engine light would go on. So it seems it was a one time fluke. Also, I have read that the pedal assemblies rarely fair. So I guess we will have to see if it happens again.
Thank you all for the information. I really appreciate it.
So I looked in the repair manual and it seems that I will just have to replace the gas pedal assembly.
image attached. Would you guys agree?
Attachments:also look at coolant temp sensor. Also by any chance does this car have an after market alarm system? and is the ignition good?

if it cranks, starts and then stops seems like fuel pressure to me. Its starting so your getting spark. however after it runs it does continuously produce fuel supply to the engine. The fuel pump is pumping enough to supply the engine for initial start but cannot produce it consistently for it to “run”. get check injectors. but to me it seems like pump

wheel bearing, tire, axle if it hums only when moving.
If hums when standing still could be exhaust leak or steering pump

have you checked fuel pump. You can hear it come on but have you checked the pressure of the fuel pump? You smell gas. Could be a leak some where. However, in my experience fuel leaks are hard to discover because fuel evaporate very quickly.

UPDATE: Brought it back to the garage who did the bumper/head light repair. and they changed both bulbs and it worked. However, it is odd because when the car was off the high beams could be flashed. Also on the way there the regular head light went out. Garage thinks there is a short some where (from the accident) otherwise the high beams and the regular light would not go out but he said keep an eye on it and they will look into it further is the problem continues.
Thank you so much guys. I will keep you posted.
