I believe it was a brand new float, but I will check it, I’m gonna pull the assembly out and see what’s going on, thank you all for the input, I will keep you all posted!

Have you had any luck with cleaning the contacts of the fuel sender off? I saw someone say it on a dodge dorm, I really don’t wanna blow another $200 on a fuel assembly, but right now I’m just counting miles to fill up. Kinda scary

I have checked all the connections, and I haven’t been lucky, it’s worked for the last 3 days then suddenly stopped move more, I will be removing the bed Thursday and attempting to clean the contacts on the fuel sender, I read online sometimes they get gummed up and dirty, I will let you know how it goes!

at idle the rpms move quite a but if im just sitting there in drive, like 200 rpm movement or so, in park it idles perfectly, and the fuel pressure is fine as well we checked it about a month ago when this started it holds at 52 psi even left it sitting for 20 minutes no leakage at all, haven’t tested the spark though, ive just always assumed it was fine since we replaced all the plugs wires rotor and cap and coil

Thanks, checked with a scan tool today because the light was back on, and it came back with a 5 and 8, and some code ive never seen before, it said “manufacturer controlled fuel and air metering” checked the spark plugs and they all looked the same, a tiny bit of white but normal (at lest in my opinion) and i changed out the coil, no change at all, i will try a power balance tomorrow and see what happens, thanks for you help!
