I’ve never torn out a tranny nor seen anyone do it.

I’d keep the car. Now, if that F250 had a 7.3L turbodiesel in it, that would be an entirely different story. In my opinion, everything that’s a 3/4 ton and above should be diesel powered._x000D_

How many miles in those 2 years did you put on the car? I don’t know a whole lot about of VW’s personally. However I posted the same thing recently asking about my ABS light._x000D_

Ok another update:
I’ve heard of it being used in supercharged and turbocharged cars because of the higher compression ratio, the engine is able to take a better advantage of acetone.
