5-6 k for a sub 13 second car is not really to expensive at all, Your going with factory sti parts so it will be reliable and not to bad on fuel, I say sti swap than sell odyssey Cuz a wagon sti is almost as practical anyways.

Edit****. Also in my last awd car build I came to the conclusion to not put really good tires on it, With sticky tires I was busting rear ends and transmissions and it cornered so fast it was down right scary, with a set of all season it was easy to do control slides ” drift” around corners and spin all four tires off the launch. Basically restricting the limits of the car via the tires made it a more fun car to toss around and spinning tires off the line is better than breaking stuff.

Let’s not forget the unsung hero of the Toyota family the 3sgte. Found in the middle of an mr2 turbo and in the 4 wheel drive celica , people have pushed 700hp outta that little 2.0l. With some minor engine building. I be personally owned a celica gt4 out of Japan 5rpm awd launches all day.

Too many but my favorites are,
87 Toyota supra – forged top end metal head gasket 50 trim turbo @ 23
This thing was so much fun
                Video is 16 psi iirc

Next was a celica gt4 or all trac as they are called in America. I imported it from Japan to Canada. It had a sard kkk turbo 580 cc injectors 20 psi managed by an hks f-con pro. on factory engine. It ran a high 12 1/4.

I’ll never forget what it feels like to Launch an awd car at 5000 rpm with 10 psi built up. Neck breaking launch.
