Good video, all though I think I prefer the more in depth explanation of things. Also I noticed, this video is uploaded to you tube, it also appears in the videos section of the website but it does not appear in the activity feed of the ericthecarguy website. Just thought I would point that out.

I had a similar issue in an old pickup truck I had. when I ran the a/c the passenger carpet would get soaked. I actually ruined a textbook when I first got the truck. I talked to a few people they mentioned the condensation hose which routes the water out of the car. In my case what happened was the hose came disconnected under the dash. I suppose the other end of that hose is where it went outside. So I looked up under the dash as best I could, I noticed what seemed to look like a fitting, I put the hose back on the fitting, the leaking stopped and I never had a problem with the a/c ever again. It in fact, was the coldest vehicle in terms of a/c that I’ve ever owned. Not sure how to track that down on your vehicle, but maybe that’s what you should check. Sorry if my terminology is off, I’m a computer and network technician, not an auto tech, I just like cars. a lot! banana:
I like to have a clean engine bay, all I do is cover the alternator with a plastic bag and if you have a cold air intake cover that too. spray your all purpose cleaner in there like Larry does in the video above agitate and rinse off. All of my cars has always started after a good cleaning.
Thanks. I have cleaned the engine compartment on other cars I have had. This car is a lot different than any other I’ve ever had. No distributor cap, uses COP so I was just concerned with getting all that wet, I used to cover pretty much the distributor and that’s it. Still haven’t decided exactly what I’m going to do just yet.
hello,
I drive a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse with the V6 engine… The spark plug wire on cylinder #6 keeps pooping out from the spark plug, the wire fits tight in the spark plug but it keeps popping off every 5 minutes of driving. I’ve replaced the spark plug and the problem persists. any idea what would cause this?
thanks in advance.
I’m no expert, but I’d probably try changing the wires themselves next.
