Aftermarket cats can be hit or miss. Anything will a decent warranty like walker would be fine. I would try to use a spacer first on the downstream sensor to see if it can make the code go away, if not replace. Original is the best, but they are too expensive for most cars compared to aftermarket.
Even if the master cylinder went dry, it still should be fine. It would have still had some brake fluid inside. Just top it off when you get all the lines connected, and bleed it at the master cylinder, and if it works good, it should be fine. If not, bleed all wheels.
How bad of a clicking noise is it? Many aftermarket CV axles arent that great. If the suspension was checked for play and there is none it probably is fine.
Seems to just be one belt for the accessory system. They have different names but same thing. Some cars will have two serpentine belts. Most newer ones dont. This car also has a timing chain setup.
Its true, if they go bad, some people just use regular pipe on older cars, or a spacer on the downstream o2 sensor to trick the computer into thinking its fine.

I dont believe if it was a programmable key, it would stop it for turning. Likely a bad lock cylinder.
Lucas would be a fine substitute for it..
Its not always easy to find a fair price, honest mechanic. I have a neighbor who has very reasonable prices, but his shop is always packed and small. I took my car into the dealer for warranty work but they said I needed a timing belt replacement soon, and I dont even have a timing belt engine
Have you tried removing it yet? you can try heating around the mating surface, just make sure you dont damage any cables. Once you’ve got the nuts loose, usually its a matter of a little persuasion. I’d try an air hammer, or big hammer and chisel. Some penetrating oil cant hurt.
Have you ever tried using seafoam?
definitely up there. You always gotta be careful where you go. Bleeding atf is a first, coolant can be done by just leaving the rad cap open and having the car run for a while. Seems like a lot of money for a hack job tbh. Can you post pictures?
February 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in reply to: 2002 Lexus gs300 car won’t start after spark plug change #886504That little bit of oil could’ve flooded the engine. I would keep trying and make sure the coils are properly fastened.
Normal. 1qt isnt much to loose between 7500 miles. Also most older cars tend to have minor oil leaks, and synthetic oil can make it worse.
