I think we can all agree that shiny tools haven’t made any money.
Snap-on guy shows up on Thursday mornings and Mac on Friday mornings. Both come into the shop and check to see if we need anything. If so we will go to the truck one by one. Small shop with 3 techs. if I have ordered anything they usually bring it in with them so I don’t have to go out to the truck.
I’m new here and haven’t fully explored the entire site yet but I was wondering is there a board or thread that the members have reviewed tools?
Never mind I found the tool talk board
Your bleed sequence should be RR, LR, RF, LF. Try pumping the pedal And bleed the master cylinder first by cracking the lines at the master cylinder while having a helper hold the pedal and do let the pedal up until the lines are closed. If you have a spongy pedal you still have air on the system so start at the master and then go to each wheel after that.
There have been some refinements to the 2.5 that you may not be aware of. The biggest is dropping the timing belt and going with a timing chain so you won’t have to worry about replacing that after 100k. As far as your 25 mile commute goes 25 a day is not that far I am putting 100 a day on my 98 outback without a worry.
Customer complaint makes awful noise and won’t go into gear. This was on a rav4
Attachments:Hi my name is Greg. I started in the body shop where I was a painter and then moved to the dark side because I was tired of block, block, spray everyday. I currently work at a independent repair facility where we work on all makes and models.
If I had a dollar for every customer that said they were getting rid of the car so I don’t want to spend a lot to fix it and actually got rid of the car I would be retired by now.
