If i won the lottery, my top British cars that i’ll buy would be the Lotus Elise, as they say, it is a genuine British sports car. Aside from the Elise, the Jaguar E-type! Of course, Morgan would be on the list. And last but not the least, the classic Mini Cooper.

Welcome Robert! I hope you decide on continuing and pursuing to be an automotive tech. I mean you can learn along the way, right? It’s gonna take your time but since it’s what you want, why not? B)

I would say that gloves would be preferable since it provides protection and if you don’t want to get grease on your hands because you’ll do some other works that will require you to have your hands clean like signing papers or docs(i don’t know) But since it’s no problem for you, I think it wouldn’t be a problem, really.

Hey guys, i need some inputs on this. My brother said buying a car that’s second-hand is much more preferable than buying a brand new one. What are the pros and cons for buying a second-hand? At least it will give me an idea since im planning to sell my car in the near future. Thanks.

I was 18 and had too many days of practice before i got the hang of the brake, clutch and when to switch speed. And then when i drove alone, still managed to scratch the car while vertical parking and someone ele’s car. :woohoo: haha

I experienced something similar to this once, and i tell you they are just going to take advantage of your hospitality and kindness. It happened to me twice and from the same person, and i just didnt want to go through with it again. You were kind enough to go through the trouble on helping out with the car. The father seems like a difficult person that would be hard and unreasonable to talk to.

I think it would be best if you can do research on programs or field that takes your interest. And i agree with Summer_Night, figure out what works best for you. The decision is basically all up to you. This is the situation wherein you also have to teach and guide yourself to be on your own. The choices are yours.

You know it really depends on the preference of the user and his chemistry with the car, serious! 👿 and usually there’s a love and hate relationship in different kinds of model and when you know you found your car that suits you you’d stick to its brand since you feel that the company is reliable and credible when it comes to their products of autos. And personal experience is always a factor.

finding a stock honda civic is hard and aside from finding it you also have to consider who is selling it. And Kenneth also did gave out a lot of good points on unmolested cars that i think are important when choosing your car.
